Intersections

Mariane Ibrahim Gallery presents Intersections, an exhibition featuring Elsa-Louise Manceaux and Hilda Palafox, both based in Mexico City. This show coincides with the bicentennial of diplomatic relations between France and Mexico, continuing the gallery's initiative to connect the art scenes of both countries.

The exhibition is divided across two floors. On the ground floor, Elsa-Louise Manceaux's Surfaces of Exchange includes a new radio-painting and silent paintings, exploring the convergence of painting, language, sound, and moving image. On the first floor, Hilda Palafox's Petric or delves into ecofeminism and collective experience, depicting monumental female figures in collective labor that merges with their surroundings.
